AYSO 1335 Board Members Needed!
We are rebuilding our league which includes board members. It takes volunteers to keep this league running, most of the work can be done outside of normal business hours, from the comfort of your own home. Would you be willing to help us? We are in need of the following officers.
Registrar: Help with registration questions, changes, refunds, and all things necessary to registering players and volunteers.
Asst. Regional Referee Admin: Help make sure we have volunteer refs, make sure they’re certified and schedule refs for all upper division games that are played at home.
Asst. Regional Coach Admin: The go between for the coaches and the Regional Commissioner (RC) & board.
Team Parent Coordinator: The go between for the team parents and RC & Board.
Safety Director: Any injuries are reported to you and you make sure you file a report with Area.
Field Coordinator(s): We will take as many helpers as we can get here! Help line the fields each week, help coaches set up at the start of the day and/ or take down at the end of the day.
Social Media Liaison: Update social media pages as needed.
Pictures & Trophy Coordinator: We have the vendors, you just need to make the arrangements based on decisions made together with the board. Send info out to Team Parents. Can also handle sponsorships & fundraising.
Sponsorship & Fundraising Coordinator: Send out info to Team Parents, can also handle pictures and trophies.
All positions are required to take the online Safe Haven & Concussion Protocol course along with the online course specific to the position held. Any background check fees will be covered by the league.
The commitment would be for one full year, Spring and Fall. We meet as a board once a month, typically the first Friday of the month. All work is done on your own timeline. Most communication, if not all is via email and text.
