We Need Your Help
Teaching Soccer Skills and Helping Our Players Develop a Healthy, Positive Attitude, Teamwork and Good Sportsmanship
Why should you become an AYSO Coach?
We need you. Coaches are essential to the game.
More importantly, it's rewarding and working with kids is great fun!
Coaches are pivotal to the AYSO experience. Our goal is to have enough coaches, so that children who want to play aren't turned away. Do you have little or no experience with soccer? No problem! AYSO will teach you, based on the age level you are coaching. To become a coach, you must be certified in the age level you are coaching. Certification takes four easy steps. First, fill out a volunteer form. Then take a short Safe Haven™ and Concussion course online. Lastly, you must attend a brief age-specific coaching course. It's only a few hours. We also have Coaching Manuals that help you with training plans and activities for the age you are coaching.
